SIBS We know from the experiences of families and the findings of research, that having a child with a disability powerfully affects everyone in the family, especially the child’s brothers and sisters. Disability affects each sibling individually, as well as the relationships between siblings. Children who have a sibling with special needs have needs of their own. To support our families, CKFTO's SIBS (Supporting and Including Brothers and Sisters) and SIBSTEEN Support Groups, is uniquely crafted to meet the needs of Caribbean children. This program focus on having fun and connecting with other children who face similar triumphs and challenges of living with a sibling with special needs.
